Der Wuppertaler Tanzrauschen e.V. erhält Europaförderung

Die EACEA, die Exekutivagentur für Bildung, Audiovisuelles und Kultur, hat im Rahmen des Programmes „Creative Europe“ der EU das Projekt „mAPs – Migrating Artists Project“ als eine von wenigen deutschen Initiativen für die europäische Förderung ausgewählt.

mAPs ist ein transmediales Kooperationsprojekt zwischen fünf europäischen Ländern mit dem Ziel, professionelle und erfahrene Künstler*innen (Choreograf*innen, Filmemacher*innen, Tänzer*innen, Videokünstler*innen, Produzent*innen etc. ) in der Produktion und der Verbreitung hochwertiger Screen-Dance-Projekte zu unterstützen, die jeweils in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den lokalen Stadtgesellschaften entwickelt werden. Ziel ist die Produktion von vier Tanzfilmen zum Thema „Macht“ (z.B.: Macht und Medien, Macht und Klima, Macht und Gender etc.) eines Dokumentarfilms des gesamten mAPs-Arbeitsprozesses sowie der Frage gesellschaftlicher Transformationsprozesse in Europa: wie wollen wir heute in Europa gemeinsam leben und arbeiten? Welche Werte teilen wir als Bürger*innen und Künstler*innen? Und warum Europa?

Kooperationspartner sind: Stéla – DAN.CIN.LAB (Frankreich), BELLEVILLE – Athens VideoDance Project (GR), COORPI (Italien), MALAKTA Films (Finnland) und TANZRAUSCHEN e.V.

Vom 7.-12. Oktober findet das erste Arbeitstreffen in Wuppertal statt.

We are very happy and proud to announce that the EACEA – Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency has chosen to support the innovative and unique cooperation project mAPs  – migrating Artist Projects – for the 2020/2022 period in the frame of the Creative Europe Program.

mAPs is a transmedia cooperation project between five European countries aiming to support and mentor professional, experienced artists through the production and dissemination of high standard screendance projects, with a commitment to strong ethical values, questioning contemporary societal issues and involving communities into creative processes, every step of the way.
